High Frequency Quantitative Analyst - BFSI (1-3 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Designing and implementing high-frequency trading signals
- Working with senior traders to analyze the signals and impact on trading behavior
- Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and microstructure for patterns
- Developing tools to research and analyze market data and patterns
- Contributing to Tower's in-house computational libraries for efficient processing of data to generate signals
Qualifications :
- A Bachelor's, Master's, and/or PhD degree from a top-tier university
- 1-3 years of data analysis experience in quantitative finance or at a top-tier technology firm
- Strong background in mathematics/statistics; past participation in the International Mathematical Olympiad is a plus
- Solid data-mining and analytical skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data
- Programming skills in one or more of the following: C++, Python, R, and/or MATLAB
