Hexaware - Business Development Manager (12-15 yrs)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales through channels and achieve order and revenue targets.

Duties of the Business Development Manager

- Work closely with channels, make them effective, train and advise them

- Provide Sales support to the channels to help them identify opportunities to penetrate and expand sales

- Work closely with the Channel and Geo teams to convert opportunities to large wins

- Work closely with the Geo Sales teams and channels to convert opportunities to wins

- Achieve Order and sales targets

- Work on cross selling opportunities

- Monthly reporting on sales KPI- s

- Address customer service issues raised by channels

- Implement marketing plans

Background of the Business Development Manager

- Proven track record in winning large deals in Application, Infrastructure and Business Process outsourcing services

- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships

- Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales


Preferably in Chennai. Other locations can be considered for outstanding candidates

Work Experience & Skills Required

- 12-15 years of experience in B2B sales -holding a Business Development or Key Account Manager (hunting) role with successful sales track record in IT Providers

- Engineering and an MBA degree

- Strong communication, customer handling and inter-personal skills

- Results oriented self-starter
