DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

1. Build a functional and cohesive shared service organization and strategy

2. Standardize and control the financial forecasting and analysis

3. Responsible for budgeting process

4. Partner with functional owners to promote operational consistency and efficiency in the GBSC

5. Establish guidelines for adequate service level agreements and efficiency metrics, and the performance reporting arising therefrom

6. Ensure support functions are resourced appropriately to support the shared service operations

7. Manage and develop shared service administrative and support teams

8. Partner with functional and regional leadership to evaluate, prioritize, and implement investment proposals

9. Evolve current service operations towards a cost efficient infrastructure

10. Supervise continuous operation effectiveness

11. Develop practices and policies for proper operation

12. Create and maintain business continuity plans

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The role includes direct reporting for office and facilities management staff. Direct reports will expand as service management capabilities are built out.

- Indirectly manage (dotted line) cross-functional teams consisting of regional stakeholders, project teams and consultants

- Collaborate and interact with all levels throughout the company at local, regional and corporate levels

- Assign and schedule work and activities, delegate and review the deliverable, and ensure quality and timely delivery

- Build a strong team and promote positive and effective teamwork; set proper performance expectations for direct reports, and evaluate performance fairly

- Assist individuals in achieving career goals and training; whilst following HR's guidelines in all aspects of personnel managing, including appraisal, performance issues, conflicts, promotion, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

- Demonstrated leadership capability managing a shared service environment

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective communications, internally and externally, at all levels

- Ability to build a cohesive team; develop and support team members

- Self-driven and able to operate effectively with remote management supervision

- Results/success oriented, ability to be agile and flexible performing responsibilities to manage and motivate during continuous change (both during periods of process migration, as well as due to environment of continuous improvement)

- Customer service mindset and attitude, and the willingness and capability to instill this throughout the Krakow organization

- Well versed with analyzing and working with a multitude of various data-information with strong presentation skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort in presenting same to all levels of the organization

- Vision for future business and operating states

- 5-7 Years experience in a shared service environment, with at least 3 of those in a position of significant management responsibility

- Completely fluent English in both speech and writing

- Experience in Lean and Six Sigma concepts or equivalent process improvement methodologies

- Post graduate degree
