- The People & Culture Specialist - Payroll & Benefits, a dedicated subject matter expert to join South & East Asia People & Culture (P&C) team.

- The Specialist will be taking payroll and benefits for Six (6) countries - Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

- The Specialist will serve as a key liaison to employees and third - party payroll vendors to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific payroll policies and also subject matter expert on benefits .

- The key purpose of this role is deliver HR services to employees to ensure seamless employees experience

Payroll Operation:
 
- Responsible for the activities related to the processing of payroll, aiming at guaranteeing the correct payment of employees on-time payout and according to Country legislation.

- Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery as per Payroll schedule & calendar of activities

- Payroll reporting & analysis, including related audit, other reports requested by Country HR/Finance team/Government.

- Responsible for taxation related matter with Payroll Vendor on behalf of Company and Employees

- Monitor and manage the performance and relationship with the external payroll vendor and internal customer to ensure timely delivery

- Support continuous improvement initiatives for payroll activities including documenting all work practices, aligning and streamlining work processes to improve operation efficiency.

- Work closely with various stakeholders i.e. HR, finance, external vendors in the payroll processes to ensure smooth delivery of payroll service.

- Responsible to generate any payroll-related reports upon request & need to ensure data confidentiality before releasing any information

- Work closely with the Manager or internal customers in the resolution of payroll operational issues to ensure alignment to regional directions/processes

- Participate in the project related to payroll process & activities.

Benefits Operation :

- Administer all employee benefit programs including enrolments and terminations.

- Coordinates and conducts the new employee on benefits presentations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrolment provisions.

- Fulfils all governmental regulatory mandates and ensures filings are performed as required.

- Support the Regional Brokerage Programme and Implementation

- Support on distribution of materials, conducting meetings to communicate changes to employees, arranging for on-site representation by providers, and processing changes within deadlines.

- Plans, conducts and reports results of audits to ensure all enrolments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee.

Others :

- Handle employee's enquiries regarding payroll and benefit programs

- Maintain employee data records of payroll and benefits: HRIS System and payroll system of outsourcing agency, etc.

- Issue the documents: service certificate, income record documentation/certificate, Statutory Documents

- Assist with internal and external audits of payroll and benefits records, tax filings and related documentation.

- Any ad hoc task and/or project that is assigned by manager.

Key Qualifications ;

- Preferably a Degree holder with 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources generalist role, or payroll and benefits directly.

- Experience in MNC culture and working in shared service set up would be advantage.

- Must demonstrate good communication skills, positive attitude, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, high integrity, detailed oriented, possess strong knowledge of internal control, payroll end to end processes, tax and social benefits compliance requirement. Teamwork is absolutely key.

- Good command of English, both verbal and written

- Experience in Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and/or Vietnam payroll practices and legislations would be an added advantage, but not a must.
