Roles and responsibilities: - Assist the CEO in developing, for the Board's approval, a strategic direction and positioning to ensure the corporation's success; - Together with the CEO and the Chief Operating Officer, develop and recommend to the - Board an annual operating plan and financial budget that support the Corporation's long term strategy. - Anticipating and leveraging the impact of new technologies in the business. - Creating of investor reports, fundraising with venture capital and deck creation for business. - Designing new ventures, creating business plans and commercial arrangements. Oversee aspects regarding pricing, unit economics, business clauses in contracts to ensure margin and revenue optimization and growth. - Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the corporation, as well as automation of the finance function with Microsoft Dynamics. - Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, wherever necessary. Audits to be handled and successfully passed with third party auditors for closure of P&L, Balance Sheet, Accounts. - Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the Corporation; reporting to be done on weekly basis on key KPI. - Ensure proper training of all personnel working on financial, accounting, audit or fiscal matters. - Ensure the adequacy of the Corporation insurance coverage. - Effectively manage the cash position, capital budgeting, cash flow from operating and financing activities. Oversee and monitor information technology, leaseholds and procurement. - Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and statutory and government compliance for the Corporation; GST / TDS / PF / ESIC. - Oversee and monitor information technology, leaseholds and procurement. - Implement cost and efficiency optimization measures across functions including HR rationalization, Vendor Costs, Outsourcing Costs to bring in-house via automation. - Coordinate the preparation of the Corporation's financial statements (P&L Actuals, -Projected, Key KPI), earnings and management discussion and analysis (annual and interim). - Certify documents as required under US Delaware laws to ensure compliance. - Responsible for ensuring accounts payable, accounts receivables are within strict SLAs and standards of the company. Set new benchmarks to improve finance function. - Attend meetings of the Board and its Committees and present the financial information necessary or relevant to the Board or such Committee for discharging its duties. - Create automated reporting via business intelligence tools. Ability to hire and enhance team skills and knowledge from within or attract outside talent. - Establish and maintain lines of communications with the investor community and oversee the dissemination of the Corporation press releases, annual report, communications with analysts and the media and investor relations. - Perform other functions related to the office of the CFO or as may be reasonably requested by the Corporation CEO or Board.
