Manager- Demand Planning
- Manage and lead the demand-planning process for the organization by working closely with key stakeholders like Sales, Brands, Business Finance and Supply Planning teams.
- Responsible for building statistical models for rolling forecasts using relevant factors like historical data, consumer-trends, marketing spends, communication/media campaigns, cyclicity of demand, new launches etc.
- Integrate short-term weekly/monthly goals with the annual operating plans (AOPs)
- Drive business efficiency by improving Forecast Accuracy (reducing Working Capital as well as revenue losses due to stock-outs).
- Work with all the key stakeholders like Brands, Sales, Supply-planning, Supply-chain and Procurement to identify top business opportunities, risks and be the focal point to drive the decision-making for organization.
- Responsible for making BCP models at short notice in case of contingencies (like Covid).
Key Qualifications:
- Relevant experience of 4-5 years in Demand/Supply planning; preferably in an FMCG company (MBA from Tier-1 B-School would be preferred)
- Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (must-have), SQL and other BI tools.
- Ability to work with cross-functional leaders and influence/rally/align them towards a common org/business goal
- Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to make data-backed decisions
- Self-motivated, focused with bias for action and ability to prioritize tasks in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
