Headout - Manager - Finance - CA (6-12 yrs)

Headout is looking for a Manager- Finance who is capable of building and mentoring a fast-growing passionate, young, and talented team. They should have a strong grip around accounting principles, controllership, and finance operations.

Given the ever-evolving nature of our business, it is critical that you are able to learn independently and seek out & evaluate new ideas to bring back to the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Build, motivate and manage a strong team of finance professionals that are capable of robust growth

2. Complete ownership of accounting matters including GL and R2R and monthly book closure

3. Work closely with your manager & external consultants to handle taxation & compliance matters for all Group companies globally including India, USA, UK & Europe

4. Understanding and implementing accounting, taxation, and legal framework of new markets

5. Ensuring business processes align with the compliance & regulatory needs of the business through partnerships with consultants

6. Establish internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure effective protection of the company assets & value

7. Manage all statutory & external audits in a timely & responsible manner

8. Prepare monthly and quarterly US GAAP financial statements including cash flow statement

9. Liaise with bankers and financial institutions to manage corporate accounts, banking & forex charges, payment gateway relationships, and related fees.

Skills required:

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant

2. Proven work experience (2 yrs +) as a Finance Manager or above

3. Hands-on experience with accounting / ERP software

4. Familiarity with advanced formulas in MS Excel/Google Sheets

5. Ability to create and present detailed reports

6. Strong team management and mentorship ability

7. Start-up experience is a plus
