Key Responsibilities

- Acquire & Manage portfolios of Mid-Size & Large corporates for Corporate/Wholesale Liability Business primarily in form of CA & TD Deposits

- Knowledge of Transaction Banking to provide optimum solution to customers

- Oversee the development and subsequent implementation of annual plans & ensure achievement of pre-set targets / objectives, including but not limited to business growth and expansion.

- Guide the team of Relationship Managers in research and analysis on industries/ clients/ markets

- Implement, manage and subsequently oversee best practices/ activities / operations to promote efficiencies in work processes, ultimately resulting in increased customer satisfaction for Wholesale Liabilities

- Ensure the provision of value added products and services to existing; potential customers who seek banking relationships for Wholesale Liabilities with the bank & monitoring their performance.

- Ensure that the team provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors and the Compliance function, as and when required.

- Strive to maintain continuous compliance of the policies / procedures with prevailing practices / regulations pertaining to Wholesale Liability Banking promulgated by the respective regulators (viz. RBI as well as other regulators in jurisdiction).

- Resolve / address resource issues (includes manpower and systems) faced by the respective departments / functions either directly or through timely coordination with other divisions / departments to enable them to meet their assigned targets.

- Conceptualise, manage, control, monitor and assume responsibility for the Wholesale Liabilities risk profile and portfolio quality in line with the expectations.

- Implement/ Monitor / review the Wholesale Liabilities portfolio by segment on overall basis and by product, customer & Business profile, and other parameters on periodic basis to evaluate the quality and performance of the same.

- Lead the development of - early warning systems- that highlight possible risk deterioration in the Business portfolio, in order to allow for timely corrective action. Also, monitor critical portfolio caps at required intervals and take prompt action in coordination with Risk when required to uphold the quality of the portfolio.

- Coordinate Wholesale Liabilities marketing initiatives with other line department to maximize cross-selling and advisory services opportunities for the benefit of the client and the Bank.

- Hold reviews with team and assess their performance as well as the function's overall performance on a regular basis.
