- The purpose of this job is to lead all aspects of wealth operations & Distributor management, setting up new strategies/processes/tools and enhance the performance of the operations team and drive them to achieve the team/organizations objective, build a robust tracking mechanism to monitor operational performance parameters to analyze productivity. 


- Provide monthly analysis of movement of key parameters by identifying the key KPI's. Provide appropriate system/tools to automate the operations activities driving towards accurate, faster and easier operations, monitor timely and risk free processing of operational transactions and thereby support the Wealth Management business & distributor management (DSA onboarding/Payout and incentive) process across line of businesses (LOBs). 


- This involves effectively managing key relationships with internal stakeholders across LOB's (Wealth, Unsecured, Mortgage, Digital, CMG &CFG) team and external stakeholders like product manufacturers, service, content providers, IFAs, DSA's and IT/system vendors. 


- Over and above supervising the team's activities that include operations management, operations reporting and analytics, revenue tracking, this role acts as the final point of escalations for any discrepancies. This individual is responsible for attracting and retaining quality talent and ensuring their development. This role sets standards for service quality and delivery.

Job Context : 

- The Wealth Operations division is responsible for controlling and managing all operational activities of the Wealth Management group. Due the nature of their work, this team also contributes to creating an overall positive experience for the Wealth customer. The key activities include activating and managing all customer accounts, data compilation and import in system, calculating upfront revenue and trail brokerage, tracking collections, reconciliation, Rm incentive and reporting, submission of MIS to various stakeholders, product portfolio management activities.

- Distributor Management takes care of DSA onboarding, payout and incentive across line of businesses i.e. Wealth, Unsecured, Mortgage, Digital, CMG &CFG, the key activities involve seamless onboarding of DSA through one system and workflow across LOB's which caters to huge volumes and ensuring timely payout of invoices/incentives to DSA across LOB's through a common platform

- The Head - Wealth Operations & Distributor Management is responsible for leading all aspects of operations, and managing team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of operational activities supporting Wealth Management and distributor management.


- This involves effectively managing key relationships internally with stakeholders across line of business and externally with stakeholders like product manufacturers, service and content providers, IFAs and system vendors & DSA's. Over and above supervising the team's activities that include operations management, operations reporting and analytics, revenue tracking, this role acts as the final point of escalations for any discrepancies. 


- This individual is responsible for attracting and retaining quality talent in the operations team, and ensuring their development. This role sets standards for service and delivery, and processes required to achieve the same.

Key Challenges: 

- Strategic stakeholder relationship management (Internal/external)

- Equipping the team with the requisite skillsets in order to create a customer experience that is operationally smooth and without any glitches

- High dependency on manual processes and computation activities to complete data reporting of multiple investment products while also ensuring accuracy/ quality despite high volumes

- Large volume of transactions further exacerbates the challenges listed above

- Ensure zero miss in TAT DSA onboarding/payout/incentive as any delay in DSA onboarding would lead to delay in business generation and delay/non accuracy in payout/incentive will Organizational Context

The services are tailored to the customer's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs.

- The group does not have any products of its own, and works closely with partners that such as asset management firms and insurance companies that carry products like mutual funds, stocks, bonds, insurance, mortgages, etc.

- For DSA onboarding/payout and incentive respective business lines (Wealth, Unsecured, Mortgage, Digital, CMG &CFG) follow their respective parameters and process and is not centrally governed, also different mechanism and platforms are used to process the requirement and majority for the same are manual

- As majority of the work is manual, develop ideal process/policies & technology tools driving towards automating Operations aiming towards making it accurate, faster & easier

Enabling Skill Sets & Qualifications :

- The skills required for this role are detail and process orientation, stakeholder relationship management, knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance mindset, understanding of the IT systems and good knowledge of excel, coordination and operationally sound, knowledge of manufacturers- products.

- A strong and effective communicator possessing interpersonal & people skills with an accurate sense of analysis, problem-solving and productive negotiation skills.

- Ability to take up new challenges/projects with the skills to drive end to end execution

- Inspiring Analytical skills- Strategic approach in handling large data points to develop high standard tools to help create a logical flow of process.
