Company - A Leading private Equity Funds, acquired a leading and largest Wealth Management Company

Position - Operations Head - Wealth Management.

Location - Chennai, India.

Objective:

- The person will head the operations function for Wealth Management Firm. Key objectives from the role would be the management of operational process right from client on boarding to transaction execution across various investment instruments to client reporting. The person would also be responsible for regulatory compliance implementation and deliver high levels of client service in terms of zero error delivery.

- The person must also have a high level of analytical ability and should be able to generate data based insights of operations, drive initiatives on digitization and analytics

Responsibilities:

Operational -

- To ensure all transactions of all clients (POA, Non-POA, Online, Offline) are executed in an efficient and error free manner

- To ensure TATs and SLAs are met

- Regular review and updation of operations procedure, daily checklist and SLA

- Ensure Compliance requirements are implemented and organizational standards maintained

- Handle Internal & Statutory Audit for the unit

Process -

- Ensure processes and procedures are in place for the management i.e. spec out business requirements in detail, develop processes including work-flows in relation to products & systems.

- Implement a continuous improvement program to ensure processes and procedures remain current and appropriate.

Quality -

- To adopt best industry practices.

- Benchmark with other operational teams to understand tools and processes used to support their business and adapt / adopt where appropriate.

Data & Analytics -

- Generate data based insights using the information generated and stored.

- Take up initiatives to clean, process and analyse data for organization and external agencies.

Projects -

- Playing the role of solution provider for all new business requirements i.e. documenting business requirements, UAT and sign off of system developments.

- Maintain a dashboard of projects on priorities.

Vendor management -

- Vendor coordination & management.
