Qualification: PG (Merchandising / Communication / Design) (NIFT / PAF / Mudra) etc

Experience 15 + years experience in VM preferably with large format retail department store business exposure across multiple markets.

Role Summary

- To lead, ideate and execute VM strategy and establish communication standards across all stores w.r.t Products, Key stories according to seasons, brand communication, signage etc.

- To create world class stores through Visual Merchandising Design and Elements to create demand and establish our stores / brand across all markets and thus create brand as India's no 1 fashion retail department store in the country.

Key Job Responsibilities

Business partnering

- Ideate and execute visibility of Brand Central across all stores and markets

- Ideate and execute VM strategy for the business basis weekly planning for Customer acquisition programs for all stores through Product / Walk in driver campaigns.

- Create VM calendar for the business, Own and execute the same, by region / store / Season with Product stories.

- Facilitate the same across all stores and ensure smooth execution by the Store VM managers.

- Lead the team to establish new stores in new markets through complete understanding of the customer, store, product, local flavour and capture this in the VM displays at the stores

- Custodian of the VM Budgets and spends across all mediums

- Lead the organization for visibility within VM domain in the corporate forums

- Ensure that VM displays and Product elements create demand for products and services and are measured effectively by sell through parameter

Systems and Processes

- Create and monitor checklists for each VM activity

- Create processes to measure effectiveness of each of the campaigns through VM function

- Monitor Budgets and spends effectively to reduce unwanted spends and ensure ROI for every VM spends.

- Define and continuously review SOPs and store activities as per plan

- Create and define MIS dashboards to create visibility to Business team from product / category perspectives

People Management

- To lead a team of VM Managers at our stores

- Develop independent and competent VM Managers within the team to handle sub functions independently

- Coach, manage and develop the team to continuously enhance performance

- Develop self and the team to take on higher responsibilities / new roles for continuous development

- Visit stores and markets regularly to get customer, product and competitor insights to improve our performance.
