Key Result Areas
- Responsible for production, quality and maintenance for all operations in India
- Improve the business processes through analysis and collaboration.
- Create department strategic Plan which complies with and enhances the company wide strategic plan and business plan
- Highly customer centric ensuring fast customer deliveries as well as high quality
- Champion on 5S, Six Sigma, and Lean management
- Operates the continuous plants on most optimum basis without compromising Quality and customer deliveries
- Solution identifier wherever required for complex polymer or process related problems (with or without R&D support)
- Have sound knowledge on enhancing safety and hygiene in the plant
- Implement unique solution for automation having effective ROI
- Ensure no IR issues on ongoing basis
- Design processes to ensure secrecy of formulations
- Indentify patterns and problem areas and implement effective solutions to increase efficiency
- Provide outstanding leadership to team members, including opportunities for coaching and development to maximize work output and work quality
- Report regularly to Management with completed on budget and on time projects and outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and network with new customers.
- Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost.
- Get involved in long term business planning at the managerial and Executive level.
Minimum Education Qualification
- Should be a engineer from IIT or similar level institutes
- Master's degree in Engineering is preferred
Work Experience Required for the Position :
- Working knowledge of Budgets, forecasting, and metrics
- Knowledge of Organizational effectiveness and Operations management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the Organization.
- Budget development and Oversight Experience.
