Head/Vice President - Application Delivery - IT (12-20 yrs)
Essential Skills:
1. More than 5 years experience of leading Technology Operations of Large Customer facing mission critical applications
2. Experience on the following technologies:
a. Application Performance Monitoring (APM) using Dynatrace or Appdynamics or equivalent
b. Java, Angular, Spring, Spring Boot, Micro-services, Kubernetes, Linux, AIX
c. Application Security Testing
d. Vulnerability Assessment
e. Web Application Firewall
f. Enterprise Management System
g. Synthetic Monitoring of applications
h. Audit and compliances
i. ISO 27001, ISO 9001, BCM, CMMi, ISO 20000, ITIL
Job Description:
- Lead ongoing production & maintenance for all in-operation products (L1 & L2 support: product uptime, incident management, error resolutions)
- Formulate and monitor key technology operations metrics across products in line with the COO vertical's mandate
- Ensure that compliance to all applicable policies and procedures is maintained across systems and system operations
- Work closely with Head Business operations to gather customer feedback, inputs on product performance & grievances to undertake maintenance of in-operation products
- Monitor and ensure adequate resource allocation and utilization based on requirement and volume of work amongst products and sectors
- Drive process improvements and enhancements across operations workflow to achieve continual reduction in operations costs
- Work closely with other teams for defining requirements and acquisition of network systems, equipment, software & other technologies, Ensure compliance to standards and procedures during implementation
- Ensure standard application up time & minimize time to recovery in case of disruptions
- Identify & drive process improvements across operations cycle
- Undertake initiatives to drive synergies between product, development and operations teams
- Own all technology risks & associated mitigation measures at the application layer in production cycle
