Head - Value Creation - Product Development - Spinning Business

The role is a Head of Value Creation and we need a candidate who can supervise the product development of spinning business.

The candidate should have extensive experience in product development.

The business has a rich product-mix comprising of viscose, PV, Polyester & TC/CVC yarn.

Responsibilities include:

1. To create awareness & build reputation among the value chain (fabric maker, garment maker and Brands & Retail)

2. To formulate the strategy of development partners across all categories and continuously create value and partnership.

3. To explore new markets & new customers across geographies where company presence is limited.

4. To anticipate trends of B&R to formulate strategy & to execute strategy for success.

5. To expand new products / VAPs offering & increase volume through product promotion drives through Trade Fair/ Technical Seminars/ advertising in trade publications & ensure retail presence of possible products.

6. To work on special projects like technical textiles, go to market implementation of speciality products etc.

7. To ensure market intelligence & information gathering across all segments & markets for assisting strategy.

8. To increase customer interface through product display centre by displaying innovations & visual merchandising activity to enhance the customer value proposition through customer engagement program like NPS, co-partnership etc. and drive effective monitoring and measurement of performance of customer engagement/ volume etc.

Major Challenges:

1. Sustenance of development by diversifying away from commodities into new and speciality yarn. Assurance of product fit as per customer need & on time.

2. Competition from low cost countries as Vietnam, Indonesia, India & China, in the downstream. Threat of substitution from competing low cost products.
