Reliance Retail (RRL) Marketplace

The Marketplace business is an internet-commerce based platform where sellers across various domains can list their products, pricing and positioning, while receiving support from the marketplace owners in terms of warehouse and logistics, paying a service fee to the marketplace platform in exchange for the listing and e-commerce services.

This is different from traditional e-commerce inventory model, where the e-commerce platform owner also owns inventory, and hence is traditionally an asset-heavy model. 3P Marketplace business on the other hand, is an asset-light model.

We are looking for a Head UX with design Customer and Seller experience on Jio Marketplace. This role requires excellent UX skills and the ability to hit the ground running. As a foundational member of this growing team, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class products that will scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- Portfolio of work demonstrating breadth and depth in UX design. This should also include approach and process.

- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience

- 10+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, information architect, or similar

- Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices.

- Experience with digital media, eCommerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns.

- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners, stakeholders, and especially to senior executives.

- Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a strong ownership and bias for action in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
