- To evaluate complete credit appraisal of Car Loan proposals including credit assessment, document verification and ensure TAT adherence, along with to maintain the Portfolio Quality so as to minimise the Credit Cost.
- Process Head will be responsible for standardizing SOPs across all business verticals.
- He/she will also review and maintain the central processes repository for audit and compliance.
- He will involve in developing and implementing strategies to improve the processes and organizational efficiency, as well as working with teams to ensure the successful implementation of change.

Duties & Responsibilities ( List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job):
Credit Assessment:
- Appraise/Underwrite the loans within defined policy guidelines and accordingly take decisions or recommend to appropriate authority.
- Assess the income, ability, intention and credit behaviour of the applicant and verify documents and reference checks, bureau checks.
- Evaluate all the credit risk parameters and implement measures to mitigate the same.
- Prepare the credit approval memo and manage the overall TAT and approval rate.
Credit Monitoring:
- Ensure strict adherence to the laid down policy and process.
- Ensure portfolio quality and do periodic structured reviews of the portfolio.
- Periodic monitoring of Exception approvals/Reject analysis and inference.
- Stakeholder Management - Business /Risk/Accounts/Collections.
- Ensure Credit Quality and maintain the Credit Cost under control.
- Portfolio Quality Assessment (PQA) and suggestions for policy changes.
- Hindsight activity.
- Strategic Initiatives.
- Automation of Underwriting and STPs.
- System implementation and BREs.
- Market/Industry insights for potential business opportunities with better risk.
- Managing the team of specialised skilled Underwriters.

- Identify and assess all types of possible risks in proposals.
- Detailed credit appraisal to ensure aging within limits.
- Timely response of credit appraisal.
- Study different industry segments to suggest new focus areas.
