Head - Underwriting - Life Insurance Firm

We are looking for candidates at a senior management level for a leading life insurance company based in Mumbai.

Position : Head Underwriting ( Second level - in hierarchy )

Industry Preference : Health / Medical Insurance, Reinsurance, Life Insurance

Experience : 14 - 18 years.

The role requires candidates which good amount of experience in underwriting.

1. Candidate with strong strategic bent.

2. Team Management skills.

3. Thinking out of the box.

4. Handle entire underwriting profile of the company.

5. Complete management of daily inflow of Group / Individual New business and renewal business.

6. To have updated process of underwriting adherent with company policies, statutory, compliance, regulatory guidelines.

7. Audits & controls of underwriting process.

8. Training of underwriting teams.

This position will report to - Sr. Vice President Operations

Reportees: 3- 4 AVP's
