Manage all activities of Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Derivative, Commodities, Securities, Repos and FIG back office ensure adequate control and smooth functionality of the unit

Principal Accountabilities :

- Responsible for daily check and control of TBO / FIG back office transactions within TBO

- Responsible for replying counter banks escalations related to TBO/ FIG back office activities

- Responsible for attending reconciliation queries escalations related to TBO / FIG transactions

- Responsible & monitor for daily settlement of TBO / FIG transactions

- Authorise SWIFT FX, MM, Commodity and Derivatives settlements

- Checking revaluation of currencies, Commodities, AL revaluation

- Domestic interbank lending in Rial Omani return

- Support Daily/Monthly TBO/FIG reporting to Finance and Auditors

- Responsible for setting up internal policies and procedures for new products

- Responsible for updating internal policies and procedures

- Ensure smooth functioning of TBO/FIG activities in relation to IT Systems

- Involvement in new Treasury System implementation and provide post implementation functional support

- Training and developing junior TBO/FIG back office staff

- Responsible for implementation of audit recommendations

- Responsible to monitor the FX position consolidated between TSY system and Core Banking

- Support internal teams in Valuations

- Knowledge on Product specific accounting is desirable

- Professional qualifications like MBA(Finance), FRM and CAIIB

- Have experience of over Fifteen years in Treasury Operations

- Experience in specialised Treasury systems like Murex, T 24, Kondor +, Flex cube

- Sound knowledge of Treasury functions and products

- Good communication and presentation skills.
