Head - Treasury Function - Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Treasury Function to lead our treasury operations to be based in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day treasury operations, managing cash and liquidity, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Treasury Operations: Oversee day-to-day treasury operations, including cash disbursements, pooling, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.

2. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and accounting standards.

3. Hedging and Funding: Analyze and perform appropriate hedging and funding activities (Forex, swaps, loans, deposits, etc.).

4. Cash and Liquidity Management: Oversee cash and liquidity management through cash flow planning and forecasting.

5. Treasury Controls: Manage treasury operations and controls (cash pooling/sweeping, forex hedging, etc.).

6. Banking Relationships: Maintain banking relationships and identify opportunities to better utilize the organization's bank services.

7. Cash Management: Monitor the cash management process and determine accuracy of cash reporting.

8. Lease and Credit Management: Track and report on operating/capital leases, credit line usage, and letters of credit.

9. Fund Raising: Engage in raising funds through various channels, including project finance, equity, FDI, structured/mezzanine finance, and PE.

10. Forex Exposure Management: Lead forex exposure management and oversee compliance with RBI regulations.

11. Loan Agreement Execution: Coordinate with lenders, external counsels, auditors, and internal teams to ensure proper execution of loan agreements and related documents.

12. Treasury Strategy: Set a well-defined treasury strategy aligned with the overall treasury & finance plans, objectives, and strategic priorities of the group.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in treasury operations, preferably in the engineering and construction industry.

2. Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and funding strategies.

3. Education: bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Qualified CA, CMA, MBA-Finance or from related field.

4. Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
