The Head - Treasury : Dealings will be responsible for the liquidity management of the bank, which includes daily cash flow, short, and long-term investment management, as well as managing the investment portfolio (local and Foreign), forex positions and exposures. The Head - Treasury will also be required to oversee all the areas of Treasury i.e. Market Making, Treasury Sales, Money Market and local and foreign investment portfolios. Job Location: Mauritius(East Africa)-Onsite PREREQUISITES: 1. Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Management /Finance /Banking or any field accepted by the bank. 2. At least 7 years dealing experience, at a managerial level, with a thorough knowledge and experience in foreign exchange, money market and capital markets (local and foreign). 3. ACI dealing certificate is mandatory. SKILLS: 1. Knowledge and working experience in an international Treasury function, risk management, cash flow forecasting and foreign currency hedging strategies. 2. Microsoft Excel modelling capabilities to design and manage short- and long-term cash flows. 3. An understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and hedge accounting. 4. Relevant working experience within an international Treasury function exposed to foreign currency, interest rate and liquidity risk, with proven experience of being able to manage these risks. 5. IFRS 9 knowledge/expertise 6. In depth knowledge of treasury products 7. A detailed understanding of Regulatory guidelines with regards to foreign exchange market 8. Have a good working knowledge of all vanilla products and other financial products
