Head - Transformers Manufacturing Operations/Business. Position based in UAE.

Client Company Description

A large reputed business Group in UAE, is looking for a seasoned professional to Head their foray into Distribution & Power transformers manufacturing. The position will be based in UAE.

Job Description:

To set up & manage a distribution & power transformer manufacturing operations/ business catering initially to Middle-East. This may involve Greenfield operations and multiple/multi-location units.

The candidate will be required to devise and execute growth strategies through innovative manufacturing techniques, advanced technologies and new product introduction to meet ever changing customer requirements.

This is a position based in UAE.

Desired Skills and Expertise :

The person must have at least 5 years of experience as Head of Manufacturing Operations responsible for overall operations including Production, Quality control, Purchase, HR and post-sales supply chain activities.

- Age group - 40-50 years.

- Qualifications - Electrical Engineer from premier engineering institute

- The candidate must have managed operations of a Transformer Manufacturing industry having a turnover not less than 300 crores for a period of approximately 5 years.

- As Operations Head must have overseen design, production, quality control, purchase, HR and post-sales supply chain activities.

- Experience in GCC countries would be an added advantage.

- Experience in setting up / starting up a green field manufacturing facility will be an added advantage

- The candidate In addition the candidate should be well versed with defining and refining desired industry standards and processes

- Successful track record in managing multi-location operations.

- He should be familiar with skill matrix, performance monitoring and motivation plans, production optimization, introduction of LEAN Systems,

- Preparing MIS Norms on productivity etc.

- Exposure to Strategy Planning
