Head - Trade Surveillance - Bank (12-15 yrs)
Our client is a Leading global bank with operations across the globe and are actively seeking an experienced individual with 12 - 15 years of experience to be part of their Trade Surveillance team. The individual will possess strong analytical background and research capability to assess large amounts of trading data in addition to exhibiting strong written and verbal communication skills to engage Compliance, traders and business supervisors to discuss potential issues.
Some of the key responsibilities will include :
- Following detailed Standard Operating Procedures
- Reviewing Trade Surveillance alerts to detect incidents of potentially abusive trading activity
- Identifying any irregularities or discrepancies as a part of the review process followed by escalations to Legal / Compliance team
- Developing expert knowledge of regulations by various financial regulatory agencies, regulatory changes, and firm policies related to trade surveillance.
- Supporting the deployment of activities and contributing to the process development
- Participating in meetings to identify improvements to the process.
To be eligible for this role you will require :
- Broad knowledge of Trade Surveillance in investment banking world.
- Graduate with minimum 12+ years of experience with 3 years in Trade Surveillance
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong product knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
