The Head of Trade Marketing is tasked in developing, monitoring, and implementing the Demand Creation (marketing) plan with respect to products mix, market segments, promotions and advertising, new product development and project management, as well as recommend the activities to the Demand Fulfillment team to achieve the overall marketing objective. Outputs/Deliverables: - Effective demand creation strategies and feasible systems for monitoring demand creation - Marketing return on investment - High customer satisfaction levels - Optimal team management Key Responsibilities: - Owner for the P&L for the whole company, charged with the review and management of the P&L for all the product lines and customers. - Leads and directs the demand creation function by setting clear objectives in order to maximize individual and departmental performance. - Ensure systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the department are put in place. - Develop timely plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance. - Work in liaison with the Head of Demand Fulfilment to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction. - Lead and manage the team. Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel. Recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, develop, promote and guide qualified staff.
