Head - Technology & Innovation - Chemicals

- Lead the Product Innovation Team to develop new products and applications for the PU market

- Anticipate organisational needs and develops implementation plans. Play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet business, schedule and budget objectives

- Build and manage best innovation and developmental practices in the industry and maintain a good relationship with external contractors and consultants.

Profile : 

- Engineering Graduate (Chemical) with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering

- Doctorate or PH.D. is not mandatory

- 15+ years in chemical industry or downstream business and experience in Polyurethanes is preferred

- 10+ years in R&D and/ or innovation related discipline

- 5-7 years of people management experience preferred

- Demonstrated experience in polymer based technologies both in terms of functionality and feasibility

- Knowledge of various innovation work processes and tools (Stage Gate process, Portfolio management) for purposes of coaching and auditing the team.

- Proven track record in successfully innovating and launching products in culturally diverse environments.
