Client Details

Our client is one of the largest MNCs in the world. They are a nearly 200 year old organisation that wants to setup a technology centre in India based in Pune. This technology center will focus on building technology capability comprising of computer science, mechanical and electronics engineering teams to drive their existing business objectives in the era of digitisation.

Description

Reporting to the technology leadership in the region, you will be responsible for -

- Leading teams to establish and overarching framework and setup engineering teams towards scalable processes for product and software development

- Being overall responsible for the tech center by providing internal leadership and administration to manage the budgets and targets for the tech center

- Support execution of the project from recruitment, building frameworks, vendor onboarding and overall ownership of the project

- Being administratively responsible taking the tech center from the startup phase to the mature phase

- Helping acquire customers internally and defining the project deliverables in conjunction with Technology Functions of the Business areas.

- Be the Internal Ambassador of the Tech Center and be communicating the capabilities and benefits to internal stakeholders

Profile

- Ideally you are a post graduate engineering, from a leading institute in India or abroad with experience in leading large teams to innovate and build solutions. You come with

- 15-20 years' experience in Techno-Commercial roles with a good knowledge of big data analytics and software engineering

- Have great exposure to product development in the engineering /industrial space
