Head - Technical (Project & Design)-Data Center

JOB PURPOSE

- The incumbent will be responsible for leading technical teams to set up the Data Center

Business for GMR Group

- He/She will design and develop the budget, systems, and processes for the Data Center Construction

- The professional will liaise with the Internal and External Stakeholders to get approvals as well as Regulatory Clearances for the Data Center

- The potential candidate will oversee the Data Center design, layout, and architecture.

- He/She will provide hands-on project management for strategic department-wide initiatives, inclusive of site selection, technology selection, quality, risk, effort, timeline, cost, resource allocation, system engineering, RFP/SOW creation, vendor selection/management, solution delivery, and implementation

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications & Experience:

- Initially, the number of employees on the rolls will be limited as it's a start-up business

- As the business plan increases the number of employees - On rolls / Off rolls will proportionately increases

- BE/BTech/MTech from a reputed Institute

- 15-20 years of experience in Data Center or IT infrastructure with 5+ years in the leadership role

Illustrations:

- Strong technical knowledge of DC Design, Architecture and Project Management

- Proven experience in setting up Data Centers from scratch - leading greenfield/brownfield projects

- Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory authorities, vendor partners, consultants, etc.

- Understanding of project management principles with the ability to establish and monitor entire project life cycle
