Head - Taxation - KPO - CA (10-12 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Tax :
- Drive, monitor and lead all direct tax activities
- Prepare and consolidate tax data for monthly tax payments
- Monitor the filing of TDS returns
- Handle areas related to Tax returns, Tax audits, Business regulations and litigation Support in preparing details for income tax assessments/appeal cases and liaison with tax authorities/tax consultants of the company covering the possible benefits and issues involved
- Review and comment on quarterly and monthly reports shared by the AP/AR team Manage and respond to legal authorities in a timely manner for all litigations received by providing details and documents in a tactful manner
- Collate and maintain necessary financial records from various stakeholders for interacting with tax advisors
- Review and present all possible mergers and acquisitions options to key decision-makers by analyzing and providing recommendations with detailed report
- Exposure to tax compliances in Overseas jurisdiction will be an added advantage.
Indirect Tax :
- Drive, monitor and lead all indirect tax activities
- Responsible for Monthly/Quarterly indirect tax payments
- Monitor the preparation and filing of service tax returns on a periodic basis Understand and analyze the impact of GST on company operations
- Handle areas related to service tax, VAT, Payment filing, Registrations, Impact analysis, Customs and excise etc
- Stay Abreast of current market developments, changes in law and implications of the same on business
Qualifications include:
- Experience: 10-12 years of taxation experience
Education: CA
