Handling Direct / Indirect tax Direct Tax & Transfer Pricing Indirect tax/GST matters - Person needs to be handling overall taxation department and should have relevant experience from a Manufacturing setup . - Experience to Transfer pricing and International tax required. - Responsible for Direct Tax and Indirect Tax - Transfer Pricing, Corporate Tax, International Tax, Domestic TP, APA, 80IA exemption, WHT, Custom, Excise, Service Tax,VAT and Sales Tax - Direct Tax - Corporate Tax assessment, Personal Taxation,search and seizure matter, WHT, international taxation, transfer pricing assessment, litigation, international TP,Domestic TP, Advance Pricing Agreement (APA), 80IA exemption. - Indirect Tax - Custom - responsible for Legal matter i.e. classification, valuation and SVB. - Personal taxation matter related to expats (Foreign Service employee) i.e. computation of income, withholding tax, final tax liability. Filing of return of income, appear before tax authority, appellate authority for various matter. - Lead the GST implementation project in conjunction with IT and Supply Chain. - Business Transaction structuring with respect to Indirect & Direct tax issues including major third party agreements, business restructurings/expansions of business in India, incl. new plant set-up. - Advisory services to cross functional teams in relation to GST, Service Tax, VAT / CST, Excise, Customs, Direct Tax and TP related issues including finalisation of agreements to optimise the Direct and Indirect tax benefits
