Job Description - This is a team leader position and responsible for leading the tax vertical. In this position, incumbent is expected to play a mentorship role to key personnel, assisting in the execution of duties where necessary, constantly honing their skills, ensuring their constant professional improvement, and essentially readying them for larger roles in future.

Description

The job role entails:

- Operations: Taking care of tax compliance, reporting, advisory and litigation for both direct and indirect taxation matters

- Plan and coordinate for periodic closing for Tax accounting and reporting purposes as per the reporting requirements- Both statutory and group requirements

- To contribute to business performance through effective Tax planning and strategies which are aligned to overall business strategies

- Lead and coordinate tax-driven business initiatives

- Major applicable Laws: Customs, GST, Income Tax including Transfer Pricing, STPI, SEZ/FTZ, FEMA

Profile

The successful applicant for the role will be a Chartered Accountant with between 7-12 years of post qualification experience with significant experience in both direct & indirect taxation in a product based industry. You will be hands on with taxation matters & will have excellent communication skills and personality
