A leading mid size law firm is looking to hire Head - Talent Acquisition with 12-15 years of experience in leadership hiring and setting up teams.

Position Overview:

As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading the talent acquisition function within the organization. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing effective recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent. Your focus will be on building a strong employer brand, streamlining the recruitment process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:

- Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and supports its growth and talent needs.

- Identify and leverage various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and partnerships, to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and recommend innovative approaches to enhance recruitment effectiveness.

Recruitment Process and Systems:

- Design and implement an efficient and effective recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, assessment methods, and reference checks.

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process.

- Leverage technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline and automate recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience.

Employer Branding and Candidate Experience:

- Develop and promote the organization's employer brand to attract and engage top talent.

- Create compelling job descriptions and engaging recruitment marketing materials to effectively communicate the company's culture, values, and opportunities.

- Enhance the candidate experience by providing timely and meaningful communication, feedback, and a smooth recruitment process.

Talent Pipeline and Networking:

- Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry networks to source potential candidates.

- Participate in career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities to promote the organization and attract top talent.

Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:

- Establish key recruitment metrics and regularly monitor and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.

- Analyze data and recruitment trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on recruitment activities, progress, and outcomes.

Team Management and Collaboration:

- Lead and manage a team of recruiters and talent acquisition professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

- Collaborate with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand talent needs, develop job profiles, and align recruitment strategies with business objectives.

- Foster strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

- Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, including experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, sourcing techniques, and recruitment best practices.

- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technology.

- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and selection.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze recruitment data and make data-driven decisions.

- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
