Head Talent Acquisition

The role is an important part of HR Function and requires one to lead sourcing, identification, and hiring of suitable talent keeping in view strategic and operational needs of business across the country. In doing so the role-holder will closely work with stakeholders to define talent acquisition objectives & goals and proactively lead hiring initiatives in the efficient and cost-effective manner to get required talent on board.

Accountabilities

Along with reporting team/collaborators, the incumbent will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing key recruitment strategies for internal and external candidate identification.

- Pre-employment processes for managing multiple recruitment projects on a timely basis and within assigned budgets.

- Recruitment processes including requisition creation, job definitions, sourcing, applicant tracking, etc

- Collaborating with hiring managers/stakeholders and search partners in developing job descriptions, ensuring an understanding of the job responsibilities and position requirements

- Follow through on all applications and ensure proper communication

- Creating and running of the mechanism for proactive pipeline creation and recruit, the best talent for business verticals.

- Assisting with applicant screening process and interview to ensure quality and consistency.

- Ensuring that all selection decisions are made in accordance with company needs and policies

- Managing candidate identification and engagement in a manner to enhance the ability to attract the right talent.

- Demonstrating focus and discipline in delivering TA process to ensure process and delivery excellence

Professional attributes experience and skills

- MBA/ PGDPM from an institute of repute.

- 9-12 years of post-qualification experience in managing the life cycle of recruiting and demonstrated the track record of delivery. Experience must include devising ways to identify and attract talent, strategic sourcing, assessment and selection.

- Experience of working in INDUSTRY is desired.

- Preferred industry experience - TECHNOLOGY, INFRASTRUCTURE, MANUFACTURING

- Strong project management and facilitation skills; experience managing multiple projects, engaging stakeholders, driving accountability and meeting deliverables in a timely manner

- Team management experience and ability to establish credibility, lead by influence, along with the ability to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and geographical lines.

- Lead hiring projects for leadership, middle and other management positions and campus hiring initiatives.

- Ability to prioritize, and manage multiple projects keeping deadlines and budgets in view.

- Impactful communication-written & verbal, presentation abilities with abilities to effectively engage with internal and external members.
