Head - Talent Acquisition (15-20 yrs)

A large indian multinational is looking for Head - Talent Acquisition at Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

- 15 – 20 years of experience to independently drive the entire hiring process for the company

- Strategic planning for Confidential and Top Mgmt hiring, SLA Mgmt, System Improvement and Control Attrition

- Participate with strategic business group leadership & line management in developing talent staffing strategy and plans

- Responsible for building organizational capability in their relevant staffing area and for developing & maintaining a high performance Talent

- Review opportunities for leveraging talent acquisition expertise across the enterprise.

- Work closely with recruiting teams to set objectives, monitor service levels, and maintain cost effective delivery of service.

- Integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy

- Responsible for developing and implementing Organization and Talent Staffing processes such as talent assessment, strategic staffing, proactive mapping of candidates, and organization activities within the business.

- Accountable for overall Talent Acquisition/Recruitments at all levels of the organization, compensation benchmarking, salary negotiation etc. The person must have the maturity & confidence to independently interact with Board Members, Senior Managers and handle the entire Recruitment process.

- Ensure the development and institutionalization of the on boarding process in the business

- Generate innovative solutions for hiring and recruiting the best talent from the industries

Candidate Profile:

- Should possess a minimum of 15-20 years of recruitment experience

- Post Graduate qualification in HR.

- Knowledge of psychometry is preferred.

- High level of proficiency in IT is a must

- Self driven, motivated, results oriented

- Has a wide and deep exposure in global hiring and resourcing

- Research oriented - looks for opportunities to enhance understanding global best practices on selection and recruitment, understands the geography specific strengths and requirements

- Should be the Go-To person for all talent staffing related requirements in the business.

- High level of resilience is required as working in the business where processes and systems are absent, and where getting people to follow system is a challenge in itself.

- Understanding of the cultural nuances, people dynamics and ability to shift gears as and when required

- Ability to deal with and manage ambiguity

- Ability to take decisions and risks associated with the decisions

- Detail oriented and diligent in the assignment. Displays an analytical bent of mind

- Customer oriented and keenness to deliver results with excellence

- Networking and relationship building required at moderate levels
