- The main deliverable of the role is oversee supply chain planning & execution (People, Process & Tools) and to ensure that supply chain performance meets business objectives.

- Drive SBU supply chain transformation, balancing needs for growth, cost-to-serve optimization, and risk mitigation.

- Focus on strengthening end-to-end supply chain strategy and planning (exports and imports), automation & digitization initiatives and complexity management.

- Ensure end to end order management of Imports and exports.

- Manage, develop end strengthen various external relationships (freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers).

- Generate and track meaningful KPIs to steer and continuously improve supply chain performance.

People Management:

- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements

- Set departmental objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports

- Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required

- Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.

Financial Budget and Control :

- Hold responsibility for department budget.

What we are looking for:

- understanding of International Logistics, Understanding of Foreign Trade Practices in Commodities space.

- Export Import Policy Procedure and documentations, Regulations and compliances, Thorough knowledge of remittances, and other banking procedures related to export imports.

- Supply Chain experience of at least 10 years; experience in agriculture industry/commodities, is preferred Ability to establish strong, scalable processes.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

- Demonstrated success in relationship building and influence skills to achieve desired outcomes function Leadership/Initiative.
