Head - Supply Chain Management - Manufacturing/Automotive

Job Description :

a) Establishing, developing, and sustaining supplier base for raw material, components, sub-assemblies and products.

b) Formulating annual budget of the department to support organization Business Plans.

c) Strategizing supplier structure according to commodities, geographies, technologies, and competencies for business development.

d) Negotiating prices, nominating suppliers, and awarding business for new projects

e) Initiating cost reduction through negotiations, market analysis, VAVE and alternate sourcing for ensuring smooth business flow

f) Controlling MRO and capital Goods Purchases to meet the requirement of Indirect Materials at the Plant

g) Planning capacity development and ramping up at the supplier's end to meet plants requirements

h) Consolidating and sending MIS reports to individual corporate functions of the JV partners

i) Monitoring systems in compliance with TS16949,ISO14000 and other statutory needs

j) Developing team through effective & need based training & controlling attrition.

Desired Candidate Profile :

a) Should have 18 to 22 yrs experience

b) Should have strong Business Acumen, Multiple Product knowledge and Global Market Knowledge.

c) should have Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
