Head - Supply Chain Management - Building Materials (16-22 yrs)
Position: Head-Supply Chain Management
Role:
- The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain operations and deliver on SCM metrics
- This role will be responsible for handling the planning, procurement and logistics for commercial operations
- The incumbent will also be responsible to lead cost saving efforts across organization by facilitating identification of cost saving opportunities
- SCM Head will also guide the implementation of process improvement initiatives within various departments of SCM
- Maximizing efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, and improving accuracy and results through collaborative approach with vendors/suppliers
- Managing and optimizing/minimizing transportation and other direct / indirect (or hidden) costs in the supply chain
- Developing positive, long term and strong relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Effective negotiation with vendors and partners on purchase agreements and vendor contracts to ensure procurement happens within the approved budget focusing on quality, delivery, cost containment and process improvement
- Actively engage with key internal stakeholders in the strategic planning process to establish critical near-term and long-term objectives for the SCM function
- Ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and group standards
Requirements:
- MBA with 16-22 years of experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management in the Building Materials Industry
- Should have experience in heading the SCM function, and handling end-to-end Supply Chain
- Should have very strong negotiation skills
- Good team management skills
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
