Our client is a young Food FMCG company with its head office in Mumbai. They are looking for a Head of Supply Chain. The role is a senior strategic role - second only to the CEO.  A brief Job Description is as below:   1) Define strategic sourcing, network strategies, and long term capacity planning.   2) Identify Co-packing/Manufacturing/Technology options for existing and new product development within Category.  3) Coordinate across RD&Q and Marketing to leverage technologies for quality improvement, sustainability, process efficiency, and packaging development. Manage gap analysis performance versus current practice and lead corrective actions ensuring that best practices are known and understood.   4) Manage the Capital Budgeting process, Co-packing negotiations, vendor negotiations and audits, and execution of major capital projects.   5) Coordinate across functional productivity pipeline development.   6) Ensure delivery compliance versus demand on new product development and promotional activities and set targets on Customer Service Level achievements via delivery of new products and quality.   7) Provide engineering, project management, and leadership skills to mentor and develop key personnel within the sourcing, production, and distribution functions.   8) Initiate and lead the search for identification of new manufacturing techniques and technologies while also leading continuous improvement YOY for existing operations.   9) Decide people development plans and lead recruitment of BD&E functions within the Category.   10) Manage all regulatory compliance across manufacturing sites and different verticals of the supply chain.   11) Implement key initiatives within the organization to provide end-to-end cost-optimization support for sales channels, leading to margin efficiencies.   12) A short term focus for the Director is also to immediately identify gaps and problem areas pertaining to the company's current production capability.
