Head - Supply Chain - Consumer Durable

Our client is a Consumer Facing company and a leading player. Client has PAN India business presence.

Position Brief : We are looking for a candidate with minimum 7Yrs work experience from a Tier 1 B School - IIT, NITIE, SP Jain and Symbiosis etc

Location : Bangalore

Role : PAN India role to Head Supply Chain function. Position reports into Business Head of company.

Brief on Role :

- Oversee and head the entire gamut of Supply Chain Operations : Warehousing, Logistics, Transportation, Refinishing operations, SCM Projects, Order Fulfilment, Vendor Management, Contract negotiation, Manpower planning, HR/Admin/Facility management & Supply Chain Budget.

- Develop and implement all necessary policies and procedures pertaining to Operations, Warehouse, transport, and Logistics function for achieving the business objectives and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

- Define and refine Systems, SOPs, KPI & SLAs, and elimination of waste of all kinds from the system for effective cost reduction.

- Planning & Execution : Breaking the assignment into major milestones, and assigning timelines for each one, considering risk factors in the planning process. Strategic planning and monitoring the performance of various warehouse functional areas for enhancing the overall productivity & profitability

- Direct and controls Production, Warehousing and Distribution : Functions to ensure customers are supplied with the right Quantity of Quality goods at the right time within agreed cost.

- Manage logistics operations with high levels of efficiency through 3P vendors and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain amicable industrial environment and lead the HR/admin/safety/ maintenance functions with utmost care.
