- Opportunity id for a Head of Supply Chain who will manage end to end all activities including in the department import export distribution and vendor management

Client Details

Market leader in Construction and Building material, the company has the widest spread across India and has also established itself in a few international markets like the Middle East, Part of Europe and New Zealand. The company has been growing by double digits in terms of revenue and also its reach, globally by providing state of the art infrastructure. The current role is for the Head of Supply Chain position which will be based out of the Delhi Corporate office

Description - 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the main responsibilities will include:

- Managing complete distribution within India

- Handling import requirements and ensuring compliance for the same

- Manage exports to other countries from India

- Managing vendors, including new vendor on boarding, relationship management, scorecard maintenance

- Ensuring cost savings by using various strategies in the complete supply chain process

- Developing and maintaining vendor relationships across different geographies

- Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure synergy

Profile

You will have:

- A minimum of 12 years' experience post master's degree

- Knowledge and expertise in supply chain, import exports

- Prior experience in building material and construction industry will be preferred

- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with senior management and the global stakeholders

- Good negotiation skills

- Working relationship with various suppliers and vendors across the country
