Job Description - Opportunity to lead the planning and logistics vertical for a global chemical company

Client Details :

Our client is a globally leading niche inks/chemicals/pigments manufacturer (conglomerate) with innovative product portfolio. With a strong manufacturing set up in India, they are looking for a Head Supply Chain who can liaise with the leadership and business, manage stakeholders in the operations function and be the single point of contact for all planning & logistics activities PAN India.

Description :

Reporting to the Operations Head, you will be responsible for -

- Leading the planning function including demand planning, supply planning, production planning, etc. across business lines

- Leading the logistics function including transportation, distribution, warehouse management, etc. across business lines

- Managing a team 5 - 6 members with responsibility for their growth and development in the organization

- Working closely with different functional heads to ensure the smooth flow of operations

Profile :

You will be a professional with around 15 years of experience in handling end to end supply chain ideally from paints/chemicals/pigments and relatable manufacturing industries. The client is looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership skills and the ability to manage large teams.
