- Creating the vision and strategy for planning, logistics and warehousing across India, establishing the footprint and team to deliver this strategy.
- Setting up processes across all business which includes organization, documentation and reporting,training and supporting application tools.
- Managing end to end logistics and warehousing operations including all the processes i.e., inbound,outbound, inventory management, 3PL and distribution.
- Managing transportation budget and activities for inbound and outbound flows, and physical distribution network optimization and performance.
- Spread a culture of continuous improvement, supported with strong communication and a local training program reaching the entire target population with tailor made content. Provide coaching, mentoring and training to employees on all levels.
- Support functional owners in their efforts to drive change by conducting analysis activities, facilitate change management, preparing documentation (QA procedures, flows, etc.) and training.
- Driving operational excellence and best practices to improve the supply chain process.
- Identify gaps and opportunities with an effective data collection and reporting system as well as frequent internal and external benchmarking.
- Apply appropriate tools and methods (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) for any given situation, and guarantee the correct use. Extend the standardized use of these tools and methods across the organization.
- Oversee execution and delivery of all projects and programs within span of program control.
- Ensure team is working within project/program scope and effectively coordinate the activities of the team to meet project milestones
- Proactively identify changes in project/program scope and assure appropriate measures are taken to reassess and amend requirements, budget and timeline
- Provide support in designing, compiling and reporting project reporting requirements
- Accurately evaluate complex situations and identify solutions that create successful outcomes
- Initiate, lead and communicate project/program assessments and lessons learned
- Work directly with functional area managers to resolve issues that impact completion of project objectives: determine when to escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
- Acting as a role model with regards to communication, customer orientation, accountability, flexibility, accuracy and work ethics.
- Manage direct reports by prioritizing and delegating of own tasks and tasks of the team.

Qualifications :
- Graduate from any a recognized University
- PG Diploma / BE from premium college / MBA - Productivity Development , Organization Development
Professional Experience :
- Minimum 15 + years' experience from similar Industry preferably from Home dcor & Home furnishing / Retail
