- Prior Experience - Has experience of both Production Planning and Purchasing activities Purchasing : - Purchasing capabilities to include Indirect and direct purchasing - Indirect to include capex, specifically of machinery such as CNC machines and/or special purpose machines - Preferable that capex experience is for greenfield experience rather than sustenance area - Experience in vendor development, especially in the areas of machine building, fixtures and tooling would be an added advantage - Direct purchasing experience focused on consumables (chemicals, and tooling - resins would be an added advantage) - Set up/Knowledge of ERP systems Production Planning : - Has setup/run a Production Planning system for a large unit, preferably for quasi-batch production systems - Played a strong role in inventory control - Familiarity with ERP systems - Knowledge of scheduling systems would be an added advantage (Siemens Preactor/ SAP PP Module) Educational Qualification- BE / B. Tech
