Job Description:

The ideal candidate is a person with a Post Graduate Degree from Premium B-Schools or Technology Institutes. The candidate must have at least of 7 years of experience in tier 1 & 2 consulting firms or Big 4 and having closely worked on growth and transformation strategies with hands on experience working on industries like Paints, FMCG and FMCD. Preferably aligned to one or two Industry or Functional Areas (though may also lead projects outside these Areas on occasion).

Role Summary:

- Devise and execute strategic business initiatives in partnership with leadership

- Market entry strategy, market positioning, competitor analysis etc

- Create internal buy-ins for defined strategy and stakeholder management

- Incubate & operationalize the opportunity including M&A where necessary

- On-board new team / transfer ownership to business team

- Develop and work with a "high performance" team to deliver the key objectives

- Offer project management and process support to the company, CEO and top teams for topline / bottom-line improvement

- Offer analytical support to Group company, CEO and top teams for the most important financial and strategic initiatives (e.g., critical new product introductions, specific M&A)

- Codify and disseminate best practices from different companies and identify strong performers who can deploy these in various situations

- Leadership skills: Candidate must have demonstrated leadership skills in earlier assignments and able to envision projects of importance

Go-getter: Candidates are expected to have the attitude of delivering results come what may. Those who have the 'fire' to turn things around and create new things will be preferred

Strategic Thinker: Understands the overall ambitions of the Group, and how the ambitions can be realized

Good execution skills: Able to implement strategies by thinking through steps of implementation, taking practical / operational decisions, motivating execution team to action, and putting personal effort as needed

- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Able to analyse / process vast amounts of data and information and gain insights to enable business acceleration. Able to dissect a problem into parts, prioritize issues, find data necessary to support analysis and come out with creative and practical solutions for implementation

Quick learner: Able to pick up industry characteristics and operational concepts fast to be effective from week 1 on a project

Collaborative worker: Able to work seamlessly at all levels including the corporate office, CEO, top management team in companies and own team and junior company team members; can leverage relationships to influence key management decisions; commands leadership 'presence' / respect; able to coach and mentor juniors in the team

Strong communication skills: Able to articulate
