Head - Strategy - Leading B2B2C organisation (edtech)

Role and Responsibilities:

- Lead development of 5-year and 1-year strategic and operating plans for the company in collaboration with all CXOs.

- Identify, evaluate and pilot growth opportunities via new product, new market & partnership opportunities.

- Establish KPIs for business. Monitor and evaluate execution strategies against these KPIs.

- Drive efficiencies in current business and processes through small and big process improvement initiatives.

- Run initiative success evaluation in the company.

- Lead thinking of how to partner with regulatory bodies to move forward our impact agenda.

- Monitor external Edtech trends, global trends and connect the dots back to implications and choices on our business.

- Create a culture of decision making through data and deep analytics.

- Build a small but high impact strategy team that serves as the future talent pool for the organization.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities for the Role:

- Exceptional Strategic Thinking and First Principles orientation.

- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.

- Wide working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, human resource planning, customer relations, and implementation of new technologies.

- Ability to manage multiple equally critical tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Ability to bring forth radical ideas that can move the organization towards solutioning.

- Strong Project management and Program Management Skills.

- Ability to collaborate and influence senior leaders.

- Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Education and Experience:

- MBA from Top Tier university

- 12-18 years experience in business strategic development, delivering on the strategic plan successfully and leading a business directly.

- Demonstrated success in delivering strong business results.

- Proficiency in market & industry research, connecting the dots to business, laying out clear business plans and taking it to execution.

- Ability to lead a team of 9-10 high performing individuals.

- Must be self-directed and able to work independently.
