Head - Strategy - Consulting Firm

Role:

Our Head of Strategy works closely with the company's chief executive officer to flesh out the short and long term goals and make sure the company's output falls in line with those goals.

Responsibilities

- Drive and lead Business Metrics measurement, control, and improvement projects via a team of analysts and business strategy managers

- Direct business planning efforts across all lines of business and functional areas

- Lead in the creation of frameworks and analysis to support strategic decisions

- Develop strategic presentations and materials for use both internally and externally, including Investor Day and other conferences and forums

- Create CBA analysis for a build or buy as well as strategic investments

- Prepare materials on business performance, competitive landscape, market opportunities, strategic initiatives and deep dive topics

- Partner with functional leaders to drive innovation agendas

- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement, set goals and monitor

- Build framework and roll out Centres of Excellence (CoE)

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Exceptional problem-solving skills in order to identify problems, evaluate options and execute solutions.

- Finance management skills to figure out the amount of money needed to execute the initiatives.

- Must have a strong working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, human resource planning, customer relations, and implementation of new technologies.

- Familiarity with fundraising and increasing revenue will be a plus

- Excellent communication and articulation skills - both verbal and in written English.

- Able to multitask with research projects, data analysis, coordination with the executive team.

- Ability to challenge the standard thinking with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions.

- Excellent project management and time management skills and the determination to manage the timeline of the strategic initiatives and see projects through to the end .

- Demonstrated skills in leadership, management, and collaboration.

- Must be self-directed and able to work independently.

- Proven ability to articulate business strategies and formulate concise solutions to complex problems

- Excellent consultative, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

- Ability to champion continuous change and be versatile

Education and Experience:

- Masters of Business Administration, preferably from top-tier schools

- Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, management consulting, product or general management

- Preference will be given to those from Big4 Consulting/Accounting firms

- Must have demonstrated proficiency in analytical research, leadership, and strategic planning.

- Strong working knowledge of Python, SQL, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint

Work Environment :

- Location will be Noida, UP

- Reporting will be to the CEO

- Time divided between desk work, meetings, and team management.

- Must be comfortable working long hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Must be willing to travel and concentrate intensely on the small details of projects.
