Executive Hiring is looking for a Sr. Supply Chain professional as Head - Strategic - Logistics & Warehousing for an FMCG, based at Mumbai.

Engineer and a Post Grad in Ops with 8-10 years of work experiences in the areas of Logistics ( Primary & Secondary ), Warehousing and Distribution Centers in an FMCG.

The role :

- Analyze Category Spend (Primary and secondary logistics , ware housing , DC)

- Extract short/mid/long term business requirements by communicating with key stakeholders (Goals, Trends , Budgets).

- Ensure compliance at all level.

- Analyze Industry and Market Movers.

- Know the market by communicating with suppliers (visits, logistics fairs, magazine) to understand the key players and improve negotiations

- Develop sourcing strategy and run RFP in line with business needs, compliance requirement and Purchase & vendor management policies.

- Implement Zonal / Global best practices in sync with country needs.

- Support Operations team at all times and in case of roadblocks / Change management.

- Control category spend and it's drivers by analyzing internal profiling, economic factors and costs to provide visibility of key drivers.

- Supporting the implementation of supplier and/or supply chain function strategy which will include spend/supply assessments, consolidation strategy, sourcing selection, financial and make vs buy analyses

- Excellent interpersonal skills - able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
