Head - Strategic Sourcing - Food & Non Food (12-20 yrs)
- Devise the long-term Strategic category plans for all the categories & implement the same.
- Work out possibility of Make or Buy decisions, upstream sourcing, Bulk buying, hedging, opportunity buying, logistics, tax savings and other cost savings initiatives.
- Ensuring that internal inflation is lesser than external inflation in all the categories and meeting budgeted targets on Cost savings.
- Monitor and close the contracts, tenders for Pan India and timely renewals and update of the price masters.
- Collaborations with business including market updates, forecast, initiatives and impact of the price fluctuations on the business.
- Continuous improvements and innovations to improvise the offerings.
- Vendor development and business continuity plan.
- Devising plans & executing responsible sourcing strategy.
- Undertake continuous improvement activities on all aspects of systems, People, Processes and ethical management of system.
