Our client is a well funded and a leading automobile manufacturing company. They are looking to hire Head of Strategic Sourcing.
Job role:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to support the organization's objectives.
- Identify and select suppliers that meet the organization's needs in terms of quality, cost, and delivery of specific components and systems.
- Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure maximum value and efficiency for the organization.
- Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures specific to the industry to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and with suppliers.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of procurement professionals focused on sourcing.
- Monitoring supplier performance and take appropriate action to address any issues that may impact production or quality.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensuring timely delivery of specific components and systems to meet production schedules.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment production.
