Head - Strategic Initiatives - Real Estate

Responsibilities:

Strategic Focus:

- Develop and implement innovative strategies to capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities.

- Benchmark industry performance metrics to ensure competitiveness in revenue generation, cost of capital, and cost-effectiveness.

- Identify potential acquisition targets and opportunities for backward integration, and build compelling proposals for inorganic growth initiatives.

Operational Focus:

- Conduct comprehensive internal audits of business processes across various functions, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Oversee the implementation and progress of the business plan, providing regular progress reports to management.

- Proactively identify potential risks associated with the organization's rapid growth strategy and develop effective mitigation plans.

- Communicate business threats and risks to senior management, recommending appropriate measures to address them.

- Analyze activity reports and financial statements to assess progress towards objectives and adapt plans accordingly.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Finance or a CA qualification (preferred).

- Proven track record of success (5-7 years) in a strategic or analytical role within the real estate industry, ideally with experience working closely with senior management.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute strategic initiatives effectively.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis.

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.

- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong desire to achieve goals.

- Graduation from a Top 10 B-School (preferred)
