Head SOX Controller (Internal Audit) - Qualified CA - Shared Services KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : - Ability to implement change and act as a catalyst to improve internal controls and financial integrity within processes - Experience in Public Accounting/ Internal Audit/ SOX Compliance or related field required - Knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley Act including SOX 302/404 and internal controls over financial reporting - Advising on Compliance related topics such as anti-bribery and corruption, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) as well as internal policy requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert to the units. - Engage with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. - Reinforce policies, control requirements and communicate updates / changes to the units in a clear and concise manner. - Review operational processes and procedures and suggest improvements. - Coordinate audit activities for units, liaising with internal and external audit teams - To ensure all required controls are implemented, documented and monitored to ensure full audit compliance. - To ensure consistency and standardization of Risk and Control activities - Facilitate the Business Risk Map process. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Required : - CA qualified with a minimum of 10+ years of post-qualification experience (industry or consulting experience in ethics and compliance, business process improvement, risk management, or internal audit) at a multinational company - Ability to apply a structured approach towards balancing multiple demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment and work cross-functionally with multiple geographies, functions, and employees of diverse backgrounds - Excellent audit documentation skill-set as Auditing Standards - Ability to operate effectively with all stakeholders including senior management - Effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a collaborative team-oriented problem-solving approach - Persuasive change agent - Excellent verbal and written communication - Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
