Head - Sourcing - Retail

Role:

- The Person will be leading Sourcing function for the country along with leading the development, implementation and alignment of sourcing strategies and merchandising capabilities across all categories.

- Manages development, commercialization and production activities for assigned Suppliers, Ensuring that the company's objectives relating to quality, development and deliveries are met.

- Ensure product is developed to cost targets.

- Maintain the QUALITY as per organization standard, expectation and aspiration.

- Communicates and commits to clear standards that meet company's expectations for the entire product development and production process at the assigned suppliers in the areas of:

- Quality

- Delivery

- Development

- Materials

- Health & Safety and Environment, Labor

- Manage

- Supplier

- Vendor

- Material

- Laboratory

- Internal Policies and procedures

- Works with the Merchandising, Collections and the product teams to set the direction and create mutually agreed upon roles, responsibilities, accountabilities, goals and objectives that are clear and understood.

Cost:

- Ensure value/cost optimization by providing cost efficient manufacturing ideas and expertise throughout the development and production process.

- Facilitate collaboration between factories, development, commercialization and costing to achieve cost target. Ensure cost efficiencies, value/cost ratio and material spec/BOM/ and CBD accuracy.
